12 Days Ayurveda Course at HimVeda

Ayurveda cannot be taught without making the learner experience it first hand. We have made it sure that you get to live and experience Ayurveda while learning it.
A typical day at Himveda during the course:
- 6am to 7am -Yoga
- 7am – 8 am Ayurveda self care regimen
- Tongue scraping
- Gandusha (oil pulling)
- Nasya (nasal oil pulling)
- Self Abhyanga ( Daily short Ayurvedic self massage)
- (All techniques explained and materials provided)
- 8:15 am – Mindful eating
- 9:30 am – 11:30 am – lectures with Dr Sharma
- 11:30 am -1 pm – hands on training
- 1 pm – Mindful eating
- 2:30 pm-4 pm – lectures with Dr Sharma
- 4 pm -5:30 pm – hands on training
- 5:45: evening tea and snacks
- 6:45 pm – padabhyanga ( students perform relaxing foot massage on each other) followed by padavgaha ( foot immersion in herbo mineral water)
- 7:30 pm – Mindful eating

- Ayurvedic diagnostic tools
- Basics of pulse diagnosis
- Preventive healthcare
- Treatment principles
- Common diseases in women and remedies
- Usage/ preparation of common herbs
- Treating with kitchen remedies
- Learn to give Ayurvedic consultation to your patients/clients
Hands on training:
- Choorna Pottali ( powder bolus massage)
- Patra Pottali ( leaf bolus massage)
- Jambeera Linda ( lemon bolus massage)
- Udwartana (powder massage)
- Dhanyamla dhara ( herbal water bath)
- Abhyanga ( Full body Ayurvedic massage)
- Netra tarpana (immersion of eyes on herbal oils)
- Kaarna poorna ( filling ears with oils)
- Nasya( nasal oil pulling)
- Kati basti (oil pool on the back)
- Janu basti (oil pool on he knees)
- Shirodhara (continuous oil stream dripping on forehead)
- Nadi sveda ( herbal steam with pipe)
- Lepam ( herbal paste preparation and application)
- Ubtanam ( face pack)
- Dhoomapanam (herbal smokes)
- Introduction to marma massage ( vital points)
- Ayurvedic cooking experience
Costs:
The price of the course is INR 57000
It is inclusive of :
- Course fee
- Course materials
- Accomodation (twin sharing)
- All meals
Accomodation will be provided on twin sharing basis with a student of the same sex. The rooms are comfortable, well furnished with balconies offering good views.
We have limited single occupancy for those not willing to stay in twin sharing. The price in this case will be INR 76000.
Meals are cooked in accordance with Ayurvedic tradition.
